How Much Does a Proposal Cost in Austin? Every Number, Out Loud

Most proposal pages say "contact us for pricing." Here's what ours actually cost — what's included, what's extra, and the few things people forget to budget for.

How Much Does a Proposal Cost in Austin? Every Number, Out Loud

Search for proposal prices and you mostly find two answers: "it depends" and "contact us for a quote." Both are true, and neither helps when you're trying to decide whether you can do this next month. So here are our numbers — all of them.

One thing first: the ring isn't in any of these, and neither is dinner afterward. Everything below is the moment itself — the setup, the flowers, the photos — built before you arrive and taken down after.

✦

The Short Answer

  • ✦A proposal inside a picnic for two — from $530 (Pillow Talk $500 + glowing "Marry Me" letters $30)
  • ✦The heart arch on its own — Will You, $1100
  • ✦The arch with flowers, neon, photos and a film of the moment — She Said Yes, $1800
  • ✦Everything, including a second photographer and cold sparks — The Forever Yes, $2700

What Each Price Actually Gets You

From $530 — A Proposal Inside a Picnic

Pillow Talk is two hours for two: a tent with pillows, silk ribbons and flowers, an activity to do together, a 15-minute photo session and a chalkboard sign with your names. Add glowing "Marry Me" letters for $30, or a "Will You Marry Me?" neon sign for $80. It's the right choice when you want a date that turns into a proposal, rather than a proposal from the first second.

$1100 — Will You

An 8 ft heart arch of white roses, candles all around it — tall tapers on four stands and two round towers of candles — and a small white runner leading up to it. One hour, set up before you arrive and taken down after. Flowers to hold, photos and the neon sign are add-ons, so you only pay for what you actually want.

$1800 — She Said Yes

Will You plus five things: the neon sign in the middle of the arch, a 15-minute photo session, a little film of the moment (30–60 seconds, with her words in it), a bouquet of 50 long-stem roses waiting on a small table, and two bags of fresh petals scattered around the arch. Bought separately those come to $1980, so the package saves $180. It's the one most people choose.

$2700 — The Forever Yes

She Said Yes plus a second photographer for half an hour, two more tall candle stands, and cold sparks — silver fountains rising behind you the second she says yes, lit again and again for the photos. Separately that's $2950; the package is $2700.

In all three proposal packages the second pair of hands is already in the price. On our regular picnics, orders over $800 include a $100 helper fee — the proposal packages don't add it, because the arch always takes two of us.

The Add-Ons, Priced

With Will You, these are the things people add most. All of them are optional.

  • ✦The neon sign, "Will You Marry Me?" — $80
  • ✦A photo session — $125 for 15 minutes. We shoot it ourselves and send every good frame within 10 days
  • ✦A little film of the moment — $80
  • ✦Long-stem roses — 25 for $220, 50 for $320 — plus a little table for the flowers and the champagne, $75
  • ✦Fresh rose petals — $100 a bag, up to three
  • ✦Two more tall candle stands — $100 for both
  • ✦Cold sparks — $450
  • ✦The picnic, so you can sit down together after the yes — $200
  • ✦Extra time — 15 minutes $25, 30 minutes $45, an hour $80

What People Forget to Budget For

  • ✦Short notice: inside three days there's a $30 rush fee, plus $30 more if fresh flowers are involved
  • ✦Distance: beyond 15 miles from North Austin, $1 a mile
  • ✦A hard-to-reach spot you choose yourself — up a hill, down stairs, far from parking: a $50 deposit toward a carry fee of up to $400, confirmed once we've seen the place. Our usual parks don't have it
  • ✦A private venue, if you want one. Sekrit Theater, a hidden garden in East Austin, rents for about $300–$550 for two hours, paid to them directly. Sky Lounge, for our proposal packages, is $700 paid to the venue and books only for dates within the next month — and She Said Yes and The Forever Yes are $200 less there, because petals aren't allowed
  • ✦Paying by card adds the processing fee, 2.9% + 30¢. Zelle has no fee at all
  • ✦After dark: the booking form only offers times that end in daylight. A proposal in full darkness, at a backyard or a private venue, is quoted separately

✦

What You Don't Pay For

  • ✦Setup and cleanup — always included
  • ✦Family and friends watching the moment — free. We don't set anything up for them, so there's nothing to charge
  • ✦Planning help. Tell us who arrives first and from which side, and we place everything so she sees it at the right second
  • ✦Champagne flutes — free, just tick them in the form

✦

How Paying Works

A deposit holds the date — $500 on the proposal packages, from $100 on a picnic — and the rest is due at least a day before. Pay by card, or by Zelle with no fee. If rain shows up in the forecast on the day, you choose another date within three months or move it to your home that same day; what you paid never disappears.

You'll spend more on the ring. This is the part she'll describe to everyone who looks at it.

If a number here doesn't fit, tell us what you'd like to spend. There's nearly always a version of the moment that does.
