How the Reveal Itself Usually Goes
The most photogenic versions we've set up are simple. Everyone gathered at a low table in soft morning light, the reveal happening in the middle of it, and a camera already in position rather than eleven phones held up at different angles.
If you want real photos of the moment, book the photo session. Phone videos of a gender reveal are almost always shaky, badly lit, and shot from behind someone's shoulder. This is a fifteen-second event you cannot re-take.
Whatever you're using for the reveal — smoke, a box, balloons, a cake — bring it and tell us in advance. We'll set the space so it works and the sightlines are clear.

Practical Things for a Pregnant Guest of Honour
- ✦Book a morning slot from June through September — Austin afternoons are genuinely too hot, and heat is harder in the third trimester
- ✦Umbrellas come with the group packages, and shade is the single most important thing to get right

- ✦Tell us if she needs a chair rather than cushions. Low seating for two hours is not comfortable late in pregnancy, and we can arrange it
