Here's the thing most husbands miss: she is the one who remembers everyone's birthdays. She books the restaurants, orders the cakes, wraps the presents for your side of the family. The gift she almost never receives is the one she gives constantly — someone else doing the thinking.
That's why a booked, styled, already-finished evening lands so much harder than another bouquet. It's not the cushions or the string lights. It's the proof that you planned something.
If you only take one thing from this: book the photo session. Almost every woman we've hosted says the same sentence at some point — 'we have no good pictures of us together.' Fifteen minutes is $125. We send back every good frame within ten days.

What to Book
Golden Hour — $200
One hour at sunset for two. Low table, cushions, umbrella, string lights, glasses, infused water and warm tea. Simple, beautiful, and enough for a weeknight birthday when the kids need picking up at eight.
Pillow Talk — $500
Two hours, a tent with cushions, silk ribbons and flowers, a creative activity to do together, a 15-minute photo session, and a chalkboard sign hand-written with your names. This is the one wives describe to their friends afterward, and it's the one we set up most often for birthdays.
Daydream — $950
Everything in Pillow Talk plus the big moment: a reaction video filmed from a tripod, a bouquet of fifty roses in the color you choose, and two bags of fresh petals. For a milestone birthday, the one she'll talk about for years.
Planning something like this?
We set up styled picnics all across Austin — built before you arrive, packed away after you leave.
Book Your Picnic✦
The Details That Make It Hers
- ✦Flowers, chosen properly — a fresh bouquet of 25 roses is $180, fifty roses $250, and they arrive in a vase of water that stays with you the whole picnic and goes home with her. A keepsake box of 24 roses is $150, 36 roses $200
- ✦Fresh rose petals scattered across the setup, $50 a bag
- ✦A cake from a local bakery, $75 or $120 depending on the size, with her name written on top at no extra cost. Choose it at least three days ahead so the bakery has time
- ✦Glowing letter lights — 'Happy Birthday' spelled out behind the table, $40
- ✦A chalkboard sign that greets her by name, $10, and free in Pillow Talk
She has one life too, and she spends most of it making everyone else's days feel special.
✦
Practical Notes
- ✦Book three or more days ahead to avoid the $30 rush fee ($30 more if there's fresh food or flowers in the order)
- ✦Deposit starts at $100, balance due at least a day before the picnic
- ✦Sunset drives the schedule — we don't show start times that would leave us packing up in the dark, so the latest slot moves earlier as the year goes on
- ✦October, November, March and April are the easiest months to sit outside in Austin, and they fill up weeks ahead
Every year you both say you should do something like this more often. There is no year where life gets quiet enough on its own. If not this birthday, when?
